When using these extra long uprights bear in mind milling can be awkward as the heavier lower end of the mill [where the saw is located] tends to move forward while the rails high above stay still. This can case an irregular and jerky milling action.

 

That said it is likely you will only be performing one cut when using these uprights and so this means it is not so much of an issue.
