G112B 12″[30cm] Clip And Trim Chainsaw Attachment

Bought this for my EGO battery powered pole saw. I knew the saw bar was too short for the 30cm Clip And Trim but decided to experiment. To fit this on the shorter bar, I clipped off two pairs of fixed teeth from the front of the attachment. Initial trails show this to work OK; the chainsaw can fight through light foliage in order to get to the thicker stems (too thick for a hedge trimmer) without causing the chain to flip off in the process. So far, I'm impressed.

The product did not really work (perhaps I'm using it wrong) It was too long for my saw and the chain rubbed on the metal, so I cut it down to fit. In use it did not really work for cutting deep into the hedge, although it was OK for light seuface trimming. The saw works better without the attachment for cutting in and butchering the hedge
