The long nut that screws to the U Bolt can (over time) start to bind to the U Bolt thread. In the end the thread breaks off with the nut. It is advisable to carry at least one spare in your backup kit. This breakage can be avoided by using an anti seize copper slip compound on the thread. Comes with long nuts and washers.
