Not a toy. Punch must be in centre of rivet and clear space for exit of same. Well made study how to use as instructions leave a lot unclear hence problems. Was expensive for me after vat ect. Brexit

Oregon chain broke on first use
Punch for 404 broke on first rivet of first use. Tool is a faf to use having to balance the chain length while still joined to the full reel. With the loose anvil & rubbish chain location section. This tool needs a serious re design to make it suitable for anything more than occasional use.
Thanks for the review - we use these to make all our chains up on a day to day basis. They are by no means perfect tools but in my opinion they are a lot better than you have said in this review. The punches could be better quality true but we still get a good bit of use out of them before replacing them.
